Description

Vimolert enhances the activity of cellular and non-cellular defense mechanisms in different situations that results in stress and impaired general performance such as high stocking density, starting to add feed to larva, low temperatures, and changing type of feed. Vimolert has great ability to increase the activity of phagocytes in the body and their ability to engulf, kill and digest bacteria and at the same time they secrete signal molecules that are called cytokines which stimulate the formation of new white blood cells. Vimolert can exert direct antiviral effects by inhibiting viral attachment, membrane penetration, and replication,besides its role in the enhancement of immunity against viral infection. Vimolert contains herbal extracts that possess a great antimicrobial impact since they are capable of disintegrate the outer membrane of bacteria, leading to increase the permeability of its cytoplasmic membrane and loss of its functions. Vimolert can improve the antioxidant capacities in all aquatic species since it significantly reduces the formation of malondialdehyde (MDA) and improves glutathione reductase (GR) in the tissues and catalase activity in the blood.
