Description

Biscovir is an important product which supports the immune system of large ruminant animals against various types of viruses that can infect them leading to prevention of immunosuppression, and also enhancement of disease resistance in farms of beef and dairy cattle Biscovir plays a key role in the activation of the immune system response against attacking viruses through boosting levels of interferon which stimulate production of white blood cells (WBCs) and increase their count in the body of large ruminant animals Biscovir activates the immune response of herds of beef and dairy cattle due to its important role in prevention of the loss of B-lymphocytes which supports antibody production and response to vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMD) leading to production of high levels of maternal antibodies Biscovir can act directly on the viral particles and interfere with viral infectivity due to its lipophilic characteristics that would allow its interaction with the lipid viral envelope which leads to inactivation of the virus by direct interfering with the viral envelope structures or masking viral structures needed for the absorption and entry to the cell such as in case of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) Biscovir controls rift valley fever (RVF) virus infections, as it can eradicate viral propagation, resulting in a reduction of viral infectivity due to its ability to interfere with the virus-cell attachment and viral entry which leads to prevention of perinatal deaths and abortions in herds of beef and dairy cattle due to the infection
