Blixovin is a special combination of chelated minerals that have higher bioavailability than ordinary minerals, also they are protected against antagonism which leads to be more effective than ordinary minerals Blixovin has some mechanisms of actions by which it helps in performances, it has a direct growth promoting effect by increasing the expression of Ghrelin and feed intake related genes, it also improves gut health and increases the intestinal lipase activity resulting in improvement of feed conversion as well as meat quality Blixovin stimulates the ultimobranchial glands to secrete calcitonin resulting in reduction of bone resorption, and consequently increasing bone strength in poultry flocks Blixovin acts as a co-factor for immunoglobulin synthesis, antibody-dependent cytolysis, IgM lymphocyte binding, TeB cell adherence in adaptive immunity, the response of macrophages to lymphokines in innate immunity, and C3 convertase in the complement system which supports immune response of poultry against various diseases and infections Blixovin reduces oxidative stress, which is increased when poultry are under high stress condition, it can convert ROS (reactive oxygen species) resulted from oxidative stress into hydrogen peroxide ions that will be further detoxified into water and oxygen
